The Port of San Antonio received 1,799 people aboard the Holland America Line Amsterdam.

Coming from Puerto Montt, the ship called at around 6:00 at the DP World San Antonio Terminal with 1,189 passengers and 610 crew on board, and will depart at 17:00 for Rapa Nui.

The ship, which became the 17th arrival so far in the cruise season, is making a 129-day Grand World Voyage, which began Jan. 4 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

After sailing from the U.S. port, the ship called at Roseau, Castries and Iles du Salut, French Guiana and ports in Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina and Chile.

After its arrival in Rapa Nui on February 16th, the ship, which is 237 meters long and 31 meters wide, will sail to French Polynesia, New Zealand, Tonga, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Sychelles, Kenya, Tanzania, Mayotte, Madagascar, Mozambique, South Africa, Namibia, United Kingdom, Barbados, Guadeloupe and Puerto Rico, ending in Fort Lauderdale on May 12th.

The cruise season will continue at the DP World Terminal in the Port of San Antonio on February 15 with the third arrival of the Norwegian Star.
